All guests staying with us at Kolea in the Waikoloa Beach Resort receive a Hilton Waikoloa amenity Hilton pass that will be provided to you in your Welcome Packet upon arrival to your villa. With the Hilton Waikoloa being a mere 10-15 minute walk by either the beach path or on the sidewalk right outside of Kolea’s back entrance; you and your family are minutes away from this unique experience that is fully accessible throughout the duration of your stay with us and allows up to six people per day.

If you choose to make the five-minute drive, you also receive complimentary parking. Explore the resort by walking through its stunning architecture and miniature historical exhibits or hop onto the tram or boat. The Hilton Waikoloa offers an inside look at the many wildlife habitats featured on the property, from majestic birds such as white cranes and flamingos to land turtles, sea turtles, tropical reef fish, koi fish, dolphins, and the occasional Hawaiian monk seal. Through this amenity, you will have access to both their Kona and Kohala River pools and fitness center discounts. With the Kona Pool being the largest of its kind on the island, it features a gorgeous waterfall with a grotto on the other side, a whirlpool, a kiddie pool section, three hot tubs, and a 175-foot water slide. Relax poolside with a drink in your hand from their Kona Pool Bar while the kids enjoy the endless fun in the water. Located next to the Kona Pool, you will find the Orchid Marketplace to get a bite to eat, featuring a wide variety of menu items to choose from. Before heading over to the Kohala River Pool featuring junior water slides, a pool bar, and four interconnected pools to lounge in, make sure to check out the other amenities along the way. These include their life-size checkerboard, Dolphin Quest, remarkable ocean views, and Saltwater Lagoon and Beach. After watching the majestic acts put on by the dolphins, take on a new adventure at the Saltwater Lagoon and Beach. The Lagoon features stunning white sand across a protected four-acre ocean-fed swimming area filled with tropical reef fish, stunning rare green sea turtles, and a waterfall. Here you can rent snorkel gear, water trikes, stand-up paddleboards, pedal boats, and kayaks to explore the Lagoon and all it has to offer.

Through the amenity pass, the Hilton Waikoloa Village towel service is included as well. Enjoy a beautiful scenic lookout overlooking the ocean at Buddha Point, featuring a giant Buddha statue. Not only is Buddha Point a perfect place to take pictures but also for whale watching during whale season, November through April. Take advantage of the six different dining spots, all featuring a wide variety of menu items to choose from. For breakfast, enjoy a delicious cup of 100% Kona grown coffee that is sure to keep you energized for the whole day at Waikoloa Coffee located at the Ocean Tower; they also feature smoothies, fresh pastries, and acai bowls. Or dine in at Nui located near the Palace Tower for mimosas and sweet and savory fresh breakfast dishes. Enjoy lunch overlooking the Saltwater Lagoon at the Lagoon Grill, which features a variety of local meal bowls, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. Or grab lunch to go at the Orchid Marketplace located at the Kona Pool for a fast lunch break. For dinner, choose from two unique restaurants, dine in at Nui Italian located near Palace Tower for Italian cuisine with a Hawaiian twist. Or make reservations at Legends of Hawai’i Luau to experience Hawaiian and Polynesian history, culture, and food. This three-hour event is perfect for the whole family. To begin, it features live music and Hula lessons following the Torch Run, a Hawaiian tradition that symbolizes the commencement of the festivities ahead, a three-course meal emphasizing island flavors, coconut husking, and finally, the grand Show which tells the story and journey through the legends of Hawai’i.
